It is with great sadness I write today.
After fighting Myloma (a type of leukemia) for 12 years my Father-in-law's battle is now over. Last year the Doctor's stopped the chemo treatments and stated there was nothing more to be done. Eventually his body would reject the blood and plasma transfusions. Last Friday a phone call sent Bernie to his dads side, he had been sick since the previous week and had taken a turn for the worse. The time had come and his body was failing. He went peacefully Tuesday morning surrounded by his family.
I thank God everyday for bringing Bernie into my life. He celebrated 5 years cancer free on March 5th.

Oh honey, why didn't you call!?! I am so sorry. Bernie my heart aches for You and Your Family. If your Dad was anything like you, he was a great Man and I know he will be missed. Love and hugs to you all, call if you need ANYTHING.

I left a message on Jackies phone but I will leave a message here too. I am so sorry Bernie, I know it has been a long and hard fight. I give you all my love and condolences. I love you guys, my heart and prayers go out to you!
